Favolento

There is a village where the clocks have stopped working, but the dreams have never stopped running.

Welcome to Favolento, a small hamlet suspended between reality and imagination, where the seasons keep stories safe, the alleys smell of freshly baked sweets and even the simplest objects can hide something extraordinary.

This is where Francesco grows up, a curious, creative boy full of ideas. With a box of coloured pencils, a pinch of ingenuity and plenty of imagination, Francesco discovers that every day can turn into a new adventure.

From the mysterious blue door he drew as a child to the inventions shared with his friends, from the first feelings of adolescence to the discoveries of adulthood, his story moves through four seasons — Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn — each with its own colours, encounters and small but great lessons: friendship, love, family, creativity and the courage to grow up without forgetting what makes us special.

Inspired by the places and memories of Salento, a small village in the Cilento, and by the author's father, Favolento is an illustrated tale that weaves together memory and imagination.

Because growing up does not mean ceasing to dream. It means learning to give shape to our dreams.
